The Art of Halloween is a BACK on October 30th in the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre as a part of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre’s 2026 Queer Arts Festival!
The evening begins with cocktails and Pizza at 6:30 PM, where guests can mingle, snack, and make some memories in the Art of Halloween Photo Booth. At 7:30 PM “The Valley Babes”, take the stage in an all-new comedic cabaret featuring a cheeky Bard who can’t decide which monster he’s brought to life for the night deserves to be the star of his new show. Throughout the program six classic movie monsters take the stage to convince the audience (through song and dance, of course) that they’re the monster that deserves to survive the night and be immortalized for all time!
At intermission, guests can indulge in delicious desserts before gearing up for the costume contest! This year, there will be prizes for “Best in Show”, “Best Funny Costume”, “Best Scary Costume”, and “Best Couples or Group Costume”! After the costume contest winner is crowned, the spooky soiree concludes with DJ’d dance party that keeps the Halloween spirit alive — all wrapping up by around 10:00 PM, just in time to leave you thrilled, not tired.
Whether you’re there for the music, the costumes, or some inclusive community fun, The Art of Halloween fits the bill! We can’t wait to see you there!
