The Chilliwack Cultural Centre offers a variety of accessibility features and services to support visitors, including:
Specific accessibility features may vary depending on the venue, event, program, or activity.
We recognize that accessibility needs vary from person to person. Visitors, students, participants, audience members, and artists who require accommodations are encouraged to contact us in advance whenever possible so that we can work together to support their participation and meet their individual needs.
Whether you are attending a performance, participating in a class, workshop, camp, community program, or using one of our studio spaces, we welcome discussions about accessibility requirements and will make every reasonable effort to provide appropriate accommodations where possible.
Our studios and classrooms are accessible, and we welcome conversations with participants about any accommodations that may support their learning, creative participation, or enjoyment of our programs.
While advance notice is appreciated, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests received closer to the event date or program start date.
Accessible seating can be selected when purchasing tickets through our website. When viewing the seating map, hover over the “i” (information) icon displayed on accessible seating locations to view additional details about those seats and their accessibility features.
If you have specific accessibility requirements, questions about seating options, or would like assistance selecting the most appropriate seats for your needs, our Box Office team is always happy to help. Please contact us at 604-391-SHOW (7469) or [email protected], and we will work with you to find the best option for your visit.
The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is not a scent-free facility; however, we ask patrons to be considerate of others who may have sensitivities or allergies to scented products and to use such products sparingly.
To help protect patrons with scent sensitivities and allergies, flowers and similar gifts are not permitted inside the theatres. These items may be checked at the coat check during the performance.
Service animals are welcome at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Therapy animals and emotional support animals may be permitted in certain circumstances; however, admission cannot be guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Considerations may include venue safety requirements, seating configurations, the nature of the event or activity, and the potential impact on performers, participants, and other patrons.
Visitors wishing to attend with a therapy or emotional support animal are strongly encouraged to contact the Centre in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed and explored whenever possible.
Support persons accompanying a visitor with a disability are also welcome. Information regarding admission policies, ticketing, and event-specific arrangements is available at the Centre Box Office and may differ from one show to another.
