30 years in the marketing and communications field, covering the private and public sectors, both in Canada and internationally, including 15 years leading teams within Canadian post-secondary institutions (including University of Calgary and University of the Fraser Valley) and 10+ years in the technology space. She spent much of her early career in Asia.
2018 Higher Education Marketing Team of the Year (American Marketing Association) and 2017 International Brand Master of the Year (first-ever Canadian recipients).
4+ years with Youth Performing Arts committee at Calgary Stampede, leading marketing and community engagement for the showband program.
11+ years as unit leader, camp advisor, sales, and distribution leader with Girl Guides of Canada, including resurrecting BC’s first-ever registered unit in Sardis, BC.
Education: Queen’s University, Capilano University, Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour.
Mom of two fabulously artistic daughters, wife to an erstwhile musical theatre actor.

Mark Klassen

Manager of Facilities for the Chilliwack School District
Current responsibilities include Chilliwack Neighborhood Learning Centre, working with partner agencies such as the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Chilliwack Community Services, Bowls of Hope, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the YMCA, Chilliwack Child and Youth Care and the Youth Health Clinic
Additionally responsible for all District rentals, school coordinators, and security, and manages a Ministry program that provides after-school programming for students with barriers and diverse abilities
Began his career as a theatre technician with the Abbotsford Arts Centre and was shortly promoted to Theatre Manager. The Arts Centre blossomed under his leadership as a sought-after roadhouse, hosting over 250 shows per year.
Led the training of hundreds of young arts technicians, and worked with various communities, including the South Asian community, to promote cultural performances.
As a society member served on the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Board of Directors’ Renovation Committee
