THE PROP KIT (What’s in the bag, what’s allowed, and when to unleash the fabulous chaos!)

Balloons
In the kit? No
Is it allowed? Yes
Use at this point: During “Science Fiction/Double Feature,” listen for “When Worlds Collide”—then pop that balloon like the world depends on it!

Large J-A-N-E-T Cards
In the kit? No
Is it allowed? Yes
Use at this point: During “Dammit Janet,” hold up J-A-N-E-T one letter at a time as Brad spells her name. Big letters, big feelings!

Rubber Glove
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
Use at this point: During Frank’s tank speech, stretch and snap the glove three times as the gloves go on.

Noisemakers
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
Use at this point: In the “Lab” scene, join the Transylvanian Guests and make some glorious noise at the end of the creation speech. Go big, this is no time for subtlety!

Confetti
In the kit? Yes (popper)
Is it allowed? Yes
Use at this point: At the end of the Lab scene, pop that confetti when the wedding march kicks in and the group heads for the bedroom. Make it rain, romance has never been this chaotic!

Toilet Paper
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
The cue: When Brad cries “Great Scott!” and Dr. Scott crashes through the wall, let the toilet paper fly! Stop once Dr. Scott reaches the Transducer wall and Frank puts his leg on the chair.

Party Hat
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
The cue: At dinner, pop on your party hat when Frank-N-Furter puts on his. Très chic, and yes, we’ll notice if you don’t!

Newspaper
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
The cue: Raise your newspaper when Frank whips the tablecloth off the dinner table.

Bell
In the kit? No
Is it allowed? Yes—a bell or any suitably ding-dong alternative will do.
The cue: During “Planet Schmanet,” give that bell a glorious ding when Frank chases Janet after dinner and asks, “Did you hear a bell ring?”

Sponge
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
The cue: During Columbia’s speech, proudly hold up the sponge when she says, “You’re like a sponge!” Absorb the moment!

Cards
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes
The cue: After the floor show, let the cards fly when Frank sings “cards for sorrow, cards for pain.” Deal in the drama!

Glow Stick/ Flashlight
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes—but keep it glowing, not flaming! NO lighters, flammables, or open flames due to fire-code requirements.
The cue: During “There’s a Light (Over at the Frankenstein Place),” raise your glow stick or flashlight for the chorus, then lower it on “in the darkness.” Shine bright, then vanish into the night!

Rope
In the kit? Yes
Is it allowed? Yes—but keep it theatrical, not criminal. We’re doing Rocky Horror, not a heist movie.
The cue: Grab your rope when one drops from the rigging after Riff finishes shooting.

Fake Toast
In the kit? No
Is it allowed? Yes
The Cue: During the dinner after Frank-N- Furter is done carving, he lifts his class and declares “a toast”.
