Take your drawing to a new level in this series of exploratory drawing lessons. Allow your eyes and your pencil to move together to create expressive lines and shapes. We will apply shadows and details to form solid, convincing drawings. Subject matter will include still life and natural objects
Good artist’s quality graphite pencils, (ie. Derwent or Staedtler)
HB, 2H, and 2B
· A kneaded eraser
· Charcoal pencils, one medium, one hard and knife for sharpening
· A drawing paper pad, minimum size 12 X 16”, (or 16 X 20,etc)
· A sheet of good drawing paper, 18 X 24” size, ie: Fabriano, etc
· Masking tape
· Optional: a drawing board, 18 X 24”
· Students may be asked to bring in additional materials and objects to draw.
