The landscape and floral painting exhibit starting November 5 in the gallery of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre is titled “Here and There in my B.C.”

Also included will be a few photographs by Jeff Maron whose work has been inspiration for paintings of the same subject matter.

The paintings by Jake Stelpstra fall into the long tradition of landscape painting in Canada. This land is grand and beautiful from the minutiae of the atoms and cells that form the basics to the rocky peaks and oceans that in command our awe.
