ART 33: Teachers as Artists showcases the diverse work of SD33’s secondary art teachers.

As art educators, teachers endeavour to encourage young artists to explore their imagination and self-expression. Through this exhibit, SD33 teachers aim to share the same passion and inspiration that they impart in their classrooms, this collection of unique perspectives through various mediums and styles offers a glimpse into their individual creative worlds. Themes such as identity, culture, human relationships and nature are explored. These art educators who are committed to nurturing creativity in their students attend to their own personal journeys as makers and the artistic spirit that inspire to teach and create.
