DESCRIPTION:Price:\n$19– All Seats\nRed Membership program discounts available. \nDate and Time:\nMay 20\, 2026 – 8:30 to 9:30 PM\nMay 23\, 2026 – 4:30 to 5:30 PM \n  \n\n\nOld Fashioned Cold Fusion\nThe Senior Stage Performance class (ages 16-24) examines the pleasures (and sometimes hazards) of falling in love through 9 short plays in Old Fashioned Cold Fusion. From a sheriff and a criminal on opposite sides of the law in the Wild West\, to a couple of pirates vying over a cache of buried treasure\, to longtime acquaintances who decide to test whether a New York Times quiz can really make two people fall head over heels\, sparks ignite in surprising and hilarious fashion in this inventive\, witty collection. \n  \n\n\nThe culmination of studio-wide hard work\, CSOPA’s annual Spring Theatre Festival is a collection of ten different shows performed by each CSOPA class. \nEnjoy our JR shows as paired double features with two shows for the price of one! The Chilliwack School of Performing Arts (CSOPA) is a non-profit\, pre-professional\, youth theatre organization working with students ages 5 to 24. \nFrom our youngest and newest performers to the more seasoned teens\, there are a variety of fun and wacky stories–some even written by students–to enjoy! \nHowever\, the learning doesn’t stop at the curtain. Behind the scenes\, CSOPA’s senior students are learning how to become backstage crew members! The Spring Festival is truly a full CSOPA family experience. Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary\, everyday ten-year-old until the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls right on top of him. The next morning\, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue\, Stanley — the ultimate exchange student — scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He’s stamped\, posted and cancelled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond\, all in an effort to become a three-dimensional boy once more. \n  \n\n\nThe culmination of studio-wide hard work\, CSOPA’s annual Spring Theatre Festival is a collection of ten different shows performed by each CSOPA class. \nEnjoy our JR shows as paired double features with two shows for the price of one! JR. This hilarious musical celebrates one undeniable truth: “nothing’s as amazing as a musical!” \nIn the 1590s\, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing\, dancing and acting at the same time\, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. This show was written collaboratively by the students of the Senior Devised class\, and is their first foray into writing a full MUSICAL! Once upon a time\, in a far far away land called TEX-IS\, there was nothing but dust and heat\, then one faithful day there was cowboys… Come along for a musical regaling the tales of cowboy cough\, train robberies\, gambling\, political intrigue\, plots to save a struggling town\, and… and an outhouse problem?
