The dates for the workshop are September 23, 6-830 pm and September 29, 6-830 pm. Both sessions will be in the Todd McKeown Painting & Drawing Studio.
The Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society hires paid models to pose for the twice-weekly Live model Drawing Open Studios. The Centre will be presenting a training workshop for interested potential models that will give techniques for posing, safety protocols, necessary supplies, business etiquette, and transferrable skills. The class will give applicants an opportunity at the end to get up on the podium and try a two-minute pose, draped or undraped, to get a feel for the activity.
There is no charge to register, but all applications will be vetted and successful applicants submitted to the Programs Manager Trischa Buhler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pre-registration by September 9, 2021 is mandatory for this session. Applicants who wish to try undraped poses should bring a robe and slippers with them.
Attendance at the workshop is mandatory for new models with no experience in figure drawing posing.
