ART that BREATHES…

This exhibition brings together the works of artist Patricia Peters (Pepa), created during the current pandemic and recent years.

Patricia has always been inspired by the poetic landscape, as an ongoing “Conversation with the Land.” These contemporary works are more about the spiritual response to the natural environment, and how it has endured the challenge of living and breathing.

It has been especially important for her to paint with vivid colour and expression, the places and things she loves, fostering hope for the future and memories of past adventures.

In counterpoint to that conversation are her abstract images, where she plays in exploring patterns of colour and line, incorporating wax treatments and collage as part of her imagery.
