Henna for Everyone

Henna has been used throughout the ages to dye hair and create body art designs – join Sidrah Ahmad as she shows students to mix their own henna paste and apply it in various patterns.
Henna is a natural dye that comes from the Henna plant/. An ancient art with origins in Egypt and India, the dye can be used for skin, hair, and nails. In this workshop, participants will learn about Henna including how to make Henna and how to use it as well. All participants will take some Henna home too!

Sidrah Ahmad
Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, Sidrah Ahmad is a Henna artist and currently lives in Chilliwack with her husband and 2 kids. She was introduced to a variety of arts and crafts from a young age and really enjoys Henna, crochet, knitting, painting and beadwork, amongst others. She loves sharing artistic techniques and has been teaching a variety of workshops in Chilliwack for the past five years.
