Capture the essence of your pet in acrylic!
Brush up on the basics of acrylic painting, and then week by week learn techniques on mixing colours and using brush strokes to being your furry, feathery, or scaley friend to life.
Some acrylic experience needed. Please contact the Centre Box Office at 604-391-SHOW(7469) to register.
We will provide students with a list of supplies to be purchased prior to the first class. Students will need to bring an 8 ½ x 11 colour headshot of the pet they would like to learn to paint to the first class.
Pat Gerlach
Pat loves the surprises of painting with water colours and the simplicity of acrylics. She enjoys experimenting with mediums such monoprint, pencil, pen, and pastel. Her work is varied and has been shown at Galleries and Museums in B.C. and Alberta. She is passionate about Nature’s raw beauty and enjoys sharing these impressions with others through her art. Teaching art classes is a wonderful opportunity to share what she has learned and to learn from her students.
