JR. This hilarious musical celebrates one undeniable truth: “nothing’s as amazing as a musical!” \nIn the 1590s\, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing\, dancing and acting at the same time\, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night\, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self\, and all that jazz. \n  \n\n\nThe culmination of studio-wide hard work\, CSOPA’s annual Spring Theatre Festival is a collection of ten different shows performed by each CSOPA class. \nEnjoy our JR shows as paired double features with two shows for the price of one! This show was written collaboratively by the students of the Senior Devised class\, and is their first foray into writing a full MUSICAL! Once upon a time\, in a far far away land called TEX-IS\, there was nothing but dust and heat\, then one faithful day there was cowboys… Come along for a musical regaling the tales of cowboy cough\, train robberies\, gambling\, political intrigue\, plots to save a struggling town\, and… and an outhouse problem?
