Be drawn into the world of faces!
Get introduced to the art of drawing faces and portraits in this intermediate drawing class. Develop your drawing abilities through a series of exercises, and explore various views, basic shapes and structures, proportions and shading to create expressive faces. Practice your techniques on a live model in the final class.
Supply List (click to expand)
· Good artist’s quality graphite pencils, (ie. Derwent or Staedtler)
HB, 2H, and 2B
· A kneaded eraser
· Charcoal pencils, one medium, one hard and knife for sharpening
· A drawing paper pad, minimum 12 X 16”, (or 16 X 20, etc)
· A good sheet of drawing paper (ie, Fabriano, etc) 18 X 24”
· Masking tape
· Optional – your own drawing board, 18 X 24”
