Studying at the Banff School of Fine Arts in 1977 started Holly Mckeen on a love of creating and discovering new possibilities in design. Years later holly became entranced with the endless possibilities offered in the intense study of clay and glaze and has honed her skills and eye with extensive training and years behind the wheel. Known internationally for her crystalline glazed porcelain works as well as her very popular functional stoneware, you will find Holly on her studio and gallery at Greendale Pottery. Recent winner of the “people’s choice award” at the “Clay -2012″ juried exhibit, holly has also been invited to exhibit and as a guest presenter at the Cristalls2013 all crystalline symposium in Barcelona this spring. Holly has studied under numerous Master Potters from around North America, and is pleased to bring her experience and talents to assist in helping to move pottery students to the next level.
Adult Class: Take your wheel thrown pottery to the next level with a focus on aesthetics of form and function.
This class will help more experienced pottery students who enjoy wheel-throwing to move their work ahead.
